In accordance with the terms of my Licence, I beg to inform you that I have distilled during the Quarter ending this day, 39,780 Proof Gallons of Rectified Spirits.

I have the honour, by direction of His Excellency the Governor, to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 28th instant, submitting a Return, and to enquire how much of the Spirits distilled during the Quarter ending 28th May, 1881, was sold in the Colony to retailers, and how much was exported.
